Introducing...

As a qualified Paramedic with many years service, I have decided to use my experience and skills to train others in first aid and manual handling.

If you come across an out of hospital cardiac arrest, prompt action is essential to save life. Would you know what to do? and if you had a vague idea of what to do, would you be too afraid to try? Would you be confident in using a community defibrillator?

If you are an employer of staff? then failure to provide first aid could result in significant injury or death. The employer should ensure that an employee who is injured or taken ill at work receives immediate attention.

MJR Training Services aims to teach and train individuals, organisations and industry first aid skills, to enable an initial response to the injured or ill.

I can travel to your own premises or company as long as the facilities are conducive to teaching, with enough room for written work and practical sessions. Alternatively I have arranged to hire facilities on the A38 in Somerset (Brent Knoll) or The George Hotel in Wedmore, to hold First Aid training sessions/courses. These facilities will have food available, and if necessary, overnight accomodation.

Please feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements.

The First Aid Requirements Calculator is an online tool that allows customers to simply and accurately calculate how many first aiders they need and the level  of training they require. Simply input a few details about your workplace and then the calculator creates a bespoke, printable report that breaks down your first aid requirements and recommends suitable training – perfect for demonstrating that you have completed a thorough needs assessment.
